Go Joe XII comes to Harveys Lake
Newswatch 16's Morning Meteorologist Joe Snedeker will be pedaling his Go Joe XII for St. Joseph's Center, starting on Monday, July 20th and ends on Saturday, July 25th. Go Joe XII will be ending the first day of riding in Harveys Lake at the the Harveys Lake Beach Club (Sandy Beach).
Festivities will begin at the Beach Club at about 1pm. All procedes raised during the festivities will be donated to the St. Joseph's Center in Dunmore.
Joe will be arriving in Harveys Lake sometime between 4pm and 6pm. Upon Joe getting to Harveys Lake, he will be escorted to the Beach Club by the Harveys Lake Police Dept. and the Harveys Lake Fire & Ambulance Co.
Joe will be entering Harveys Lake from the south on SR415, and will be turning right onto Lakeside Dr, and ride around the lake to the Beach Club. All residents are encouraged to come out along the riding route to wave and cheer Joe on. All residents are also encouraged and invited to attend the festivities at the Beach Club.
Safety notes:
- For Joe's safety and the public's safety, WNEP-TV and Harveys Lake Police Dept. asks viewers not to join Joe on the bike ride. Traffic and riding terrain may put people in danger and we do not want anyone to get hurt.
- Please don't 'jump out' to try to give Joe a donation for St. Joe's. Through every donation is appreciated, this may cause unsafe riding. Try to meet the Go Joe RV at the Harveys Lake Beach Club to present donations for St. Joe's. If you are unable to make it to the Harveys Lake Beach Club to make a donation, you can still mail your donation to:
